Simon Thuresson has been appointed new CEO of PlantVision. He will replace Magnus Severin in the role of CEO on 01 September, 2019.

Simon Thuresson is 41 years of age and has extensive experience of consultancy operations, strategic development and change management in various industries. He is currently Chairman of the Board of the technology consulting company Geosigma and has previously served on the Board of Directors of PlantVision.

Simon’s most recent role was Business Development Manager at the mobile network operator Tre and he has previously worked as a management consultant at BearingPoint and Connecta. He has an engineering degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and an MSc in Business and Economics from the University of Stockholm, including overseas study at University of California, Berkeley, in the USA.

Magnus Severin has been CEO of PlantVision since its inception in 1999 and has managed the company successfully for more than 20 years. We are pleased to announce that Magnus will remain within the company and will work more closely with customers and partners with sales and business development.
