PlantExplorer is a concept developed by PlantVision and based on AspenTech’s functionalities for collection and analysis of production raw data.

PlantExplorer focuses on offering users an effective and highly user friendly user interface. The users are based on their different roles directed to the objects and functions within the system, and can themselves add new objects as well as view the public objects to which they have access. Within the interface trends, process views and objects are structured by the users in the system.

PlantExplorer stores process data, which can be presented in different formats like trends and tables. Within the system, there are functionalities for advanced calculations, disturbance registrations as well as alarm and event handling. System scope of use is for example for process control, process optimization, state analysis, statistic and authority reporting and analysis of disturbances.
